It all started with my husband’s legendary sweet tooth. Watching him snack on store-bought desserts full of preservatives made me cringe, so I took matters into my own oven. I started baking from scratch—cupcakes, butter cakes, rum cakes—and to my surprise, I didn’t just enjoy it… I was good at it.
What began as sweet gestures for my husband grew into something more. I started sharing my bakes with friends, and their reactions—“This is delicious!” and “Wait, you made this?!”—lit a fire in me. I realized I didn’t just love baking—I loved creating joy with every bite.
After years in the corporate world, I traded spreadsheets for spatulas and poured my creativity into a newly-discovered passion as a home baker. I started baking in bigger batches, joined local markets and pop-ups, and catered special events. Late-night brainstorms with my husband led to a brand name that says it all: Desserts to the MAX.
Together, my husband and I are on a mission to spread sweetness and joy, one lovingly crafted dessert at a time… and we’re doing it to the MAX!
